Hi! My name is Emma Kate.
I specialize in lifestyle photography, capturing everything from intimate weddings to adventurous couple sessions and the in-between moments that often mean the most. I just graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing with a concentration in social media and minor in entrepreneurship. I am sticking around in Bowling Green for a bit, interning at the WKU BCM as the Lord continually guides me!

I have many wonderful memories from my childhood that I love to reminisce on. Luckily, the women in my family always had a camera or a phone ready to snap some shots, from soccer games to birthdays to tea parties, there are scrapbooks full of pictures in our basement showcasing the little moments and the big ones.

These photos are priceless and I want you to be able to fill your scrapbooks to look back on for years to come, too. Professional photos are perfect for so many things, but my favorite is to remind you to cherish the people you've been given by God to love and be loved by.

Where did you grow up?
Mount Washington, KY. I graduated from Bullitt East High School in 2022.
How long have you been taking pictures?
I got my first camera sophomore year of high school and fell in love with photography. Since then I've taken pictures both for joy and as a job and loved every second. I recently added videography services just last year.
What else do you do in your free time?
I like to stay busy. I am interning for the Baptist Campus Ministry at WKU. I lead a discipleship group of sophomore girls, and spend lots of time doing ministry things! I love to play soccer, read, run tough mudders, & hang out with friends.
What do you shoot with?
Canon R6 Mark II with a 24-70 mm lens!!
do you have any pets?
Yes!! I have an orange cat named Oliver! He has stripes and a lightning bolt pattern on his side.

Who is that guy in your grad pics?
Sam!! The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful boyfriend who also second shoots for me! We met at the WKU BCM through my older brother! If you hire ekcaptures for photo and video services, Sam shoots video for me and is a pro with the gimbal. Then I edit and make the video!
